Welcome

Hello! My name is Brenda and I've been a writer most of my life. Ever since I can remember I've loved making up stories and committing them to paper. I began writing short stories in jr. high and poetry in high school. It was in high school that I became serious about becoming a writer. In college, I tried my hand at writing news articles and scriptwriting. Several years after college, I worked on a book manuscript, but decided to shelve it. Since then, I earned a second college degree, which helped launch my freelance writing career. I found a niche when I started writing feature articles for a local newspaper, which led to articles for regional and local magazines. I still have the desire to pursue scriptwriting and I'd like to get back to that book manuscript!  I'm always looking for and willing to try new writing projects and expand my writing experience.  I'm sharing my published writing on this Website. I hope you enjoy what I've written.

Signature verse

"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
                              -Phillipians 1:6

I put this scripture reference under my signature because I believe the Lord isn't finished with me yet. This verse reminds me that He will be faithful to finish the work He's started in me.
